Actress Beauty Gonzalez spoke up about the trials that she and her husband, businessman and art curator Norman Crisologo, went through after he got sick with COVID-19.
Her husband triumphantly battled the dreaded disease, as per her Instagram post today, Easter Sunday, April 4.
“For the last couple of weeks, my life has been put on hold, everything on my mind and in my heart suddenly changed,” she said, recalling the time when her husband tested positive for COVID-19 and had to be wheeled off to a hospital, something that she wasn’t prepared for.
“A day after symptoms showed, he was alone in a hospital ward halfway across town struggling for space and breath with dozens of other patients,” she added.
Gonzalez stayed at home with her daughter Olivia, not knowing how her husband’s battle with COVID-19 was going, while all that flashed in her mind were the “statistics and death tolls.”
She did not know what to do other than pray, until one day, her husband called and asked her not to worry because “everything’s gonna be alright.” Soon enough, he came back home, cured.
Gonzalez, along with Elisse Joson and Sunshine Garcia, are set to star in the upcoming film “Izla” by Barry Gonzalez. She was also part of the recently concluded TV5 teleseryes “Paano Ang Pasko” and “Paano Ang Pangako” by The Ideafirst Company. JB
