Zenith’s Chronomaster Sport collection is a renaissance of the sporty-chic chronograph. Known for its El Primero movement and prized by watch enthusiasts for its high-frequency performance and with the new Chronomaster Sport collection, it is capable of measurements with an accuracy of 1/10th of a second. The watch is a culmination point in Zenith’s legacy of automatic chronographs that combines the spirit of the El Primero A386, the form of the Chronomaster De Luca and the high-frequency performance established by the El Primero calibre for over 50 years in a sporty chronograph like no other.

Zenith is building its future of watchmaking on the foundation of the El Primero caliber with a marked increase in performance using the new El Primero 3600 calibre that offers an even better performance and precision than its forebearer, with its ultra-readable 1/10th of a second display etched directly on its black ceramic bezel and it is the only watch to do so. The El Primero 3600 calibre has an extended power reserve of 60 hours and can be seen through the sapphire display back with a distinctive blue column wheel and open rotor marked with the five-pointed star Zenith.

The Chronomaster lineage and its unique heritage is clearly evident in this new chronograph line with an updated and more refined dial. It features an integrated steel bracelet for optimized comfort with enhanced finishing details. Its stainless steel case measures 41 mm wide with pump-style pushers, with a polished black ceramic bezel that sets the new Chronomaster Sport apart from its predecessors. Graduated over 10 seconds, its bold contrast offers exceptional legibility on the periphery of the dial.

The Chronomaster Sport comes in black and white dial, both featuring the signature El Primero tri-color chronograph registers in blue, anthracite and light grey, just like its 1969 A386 model. The counters are graduated to 60 for an intuitive and instantaneous reading of the chronograph. Aside from the steel bracelet, the Chronomaster Sport also has a textured cordura-effect rubber strap option with a steel deployant buckle.
