The Philippine Queen of All Media Kris Aquino could not help but gush over her son Bimby for his generosity and thoughtfulness after he surprised her with flowers.
Aside from being thankful for her son, Aquino also expressed his gratitude to her mom, late President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, for raising her well, as seen in her Instagram post yesterday, Aug. 9.
“Yesterday was for my self-esteem, for all of you, for my mom who instilled in me the importance of staying strong come what may, and most of all it was for the [14-year-old] who never stopped praying for and believing in his mama. I love you Bimb,” she said.
Aquino revealed that Bimb asked her assistant to get money from his savings just so he could surprise his mom with her favorite shade of pink roses when she gets home.
“Hindi ko talaga alam anong mabuting nagawa ko (I do not know what kindness I have done) to deserve a son as thoughtful and loving as you — how I wish I could have been just 50% of you to Lola Cory because you are the bunso a mom like her deserved,” she emphasized.
Aquino also updated fans about Bimb, sharing that he finished 8th grade with 1st honors and will start 9th grade after the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
“I am excited for what the future holds for him – sana talaga hindi na magbago yung choice niya (I hope he does not change his choice) to pursue a career in the field of medicine,” the doting mom said.
Last June, Aquino also shared with fans how Bimby gifted her with a bouquet of flowers after their “tampuhan” in an effort to reconcile. IB
