Adrian Lindayag was not expecting their hit Boys’ Love movie, “The Boy Foretold By The Stars,” to have a sequel series, which just made him more excited now that it has one.

“Sobrang na- excite kami ni Keann ( Johnson) na magkakaroon ng continuation because I agree with many of the fans na bitin ‘yung ending ng pelikula,” the young actor said during the series’ online conference on Aug. 9.

(Kean and I were very excited that our story will have a continuation because I agree with many of the fans that the movie’s ending left everyone hanging.)

Lindayag also emphasized that he gave his all in the movie and in the series titled “Love Beneath the Stars,” which is why he has nothing much to worry about. He plays the lead role of Dominic in the series, who is paired with Johnson’s Luke.

“Actually, sobrang binigay ko ‘yung puso ko sa project at mga tao sa production so hindi ako masyadong nangamba,” he said.  (Actually, I poured all my heart out for this project and in the production team so I am not that worried.)

“Na- excite lang ako na lalago ‘yung pag-iibigan nina Luke and Dominic at makakasama ang bagong cast members,” Lindayag added.  (I am excited about how the romance between Luke and Dominic will play out along with the new cast members.)

In the said series, Luke and Dominic’s romance will be threatened by a third party named Gio, who is played by Vaughn Piczon.

“Interesting kasi yung character at ‘yung atake ni Vaughn sa character niya, parang ang sayang umarte, ang sayang mag-perform, ang sayang gawin ang mga eksena. Napakahusay ni Vaughn,” he said.

(Vaughn’s take on his character and the character itself is interesting; it’s like he is so happy to act, so happy to perform and is just so happy to do those scenes. Vaughn is very talented.)

“Love Beneath the Stars,” written and directed by Dolly Dulu, will start streaming on Aug. 16 on iWantTFC. Lindayag and Johnson are joined by Agot Isidro, Nikki Valdez, Romnick Sarmenta, Victor Silayan and Iyah Mina, among others, in the series. IB
