WATCH: Lizzo and Cardi B channel Greek goddess glam on “Rumors”

After dropping heavy hints on social media, “Rumors” is finally out. It’s the first collaboration between Lizzo and Cardi B. It’s also Lizzo’s newest hit after taking a break in 2019, following the dizzying success of  Cuz I Love You.

The video is a surreal ride into a re-imagined Greece. A pregnant Cardi B goes in with her verses, even addressing the controversy her last collab, WAP with Megan Thee Stallion, caused. “Last time I got freaky, the FCC sued me/ But I’m gonna keep doin’ what I wanna do/’Cause all the rumors are/All the rumors are true, yeah,” she spits.

Rumors is just one step in Lizzo’s comeback. She will also be the first woman to headline the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival this September. From there, she will be hitting up the Global Citizen Live, Firefly Music Festival, and Outside Lands.

Another collab you need to cue up is Dua Lipa and Elton John’s Cold Heart – PNAU Remix. Looks like the weekend is off to a good start.
