After giving birth to her firstborn son last July, TV host Joyce Pring is back to the grind and grateful for her support system which made it possible for her to return to work, such as hosting events.

“Last Friday was my first time back hosting events after giving birth,” she said on her Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 20, showing snippets of her hosting and a photo of herself while nursing her baby. “Many things were swirling through my mind — the ‘mom guilt’ of leaving Liam for a few hours to work, the insecurities I have because of my postpartum body/face.”

Pring spoke up about her desire to breastfeed Liam as much as she can in between her preparations for her events, her worry of leaving husband Juancho Triviño with their baby since they haven’t found a nanny yet, and her overwhelming need to excel at work as a host amid all her domestic concerns.

But Pring considers herself lucky to be able to pull through, even hosting not one but two back-to-back events.

“It was exhilarating. It was exhausting. It was nearly an impossible feat — but it was done and by 8:30 p.m. I was back in my nursing chair, caring for Liam, and beaming with delight for a job well done (tag team effort by me and Juancho),” she said.

“So if you have a supportive spouse, work network, clients, friends, etc — this is your reminder to thank them!” Pring stressed. “Whether you’re a mama or not, being able to work and provide for our families is such a blessing [especially] during these trying times.” JB
