Creative uses for Moroccan inkwell

THE INKWELL is used as an organizer for makeup tools (left) and pens.

Masrissa and I have Moroccan merchandise in our store.  Among them are ceramic inkwells that are handmade and painted in traditional Moroccan patterns and motifs. These inkwells have become popular among clients.  A friend who bought one a couple of weeks ago urged me to share how this “happy purchase” is versatile and useful.

Originally my friend bought the inkwell to put on top of her coffee table. One day, while organizing her dresser, she discovered the need to organize brushes and some makeup necessities.  She thought of  her new treasure and indeed it worked out perfectly as a makeup organizer.  When she had a small tea party with friends she used it as a container for flowers.  Since then she has come back to the store and bought two more.  Now her daughter has brought it back to its original use; she keeps pens and pencils to keep her desk tidy and organized.

I’m almost sure not everyone owns a Moroccan inkwell but this is a good example that can inspire you to take a closer look at what you have lying around in your house and expand its use.
