Actress Bea Alonzo is thankful for the gift of life as she celebrated her birthday recently.
Alonzo expressed her gratitude via her Instagram page yesterday, Oct. 18, where she showed a photo of herself holding a birthday cake, a gift from a person very close to her.
“Thank you for all your love and well wishes on my birthday. You never cease to make me feel special on my birthday every year. But for me, this year is different. A lot has happened, and all I have in my heart right now is GRATITUDE,” she said.
Alonzo is “thankful for all the lessons and courage that this year has brought” her, and with the many challenges she’s faced, she is now seeing herself “in a different light.”
She is grateful also to the special person whom she did not name as he made an effort to celebrate her birthday in a meaningful way.
“Here is a picture of me, on the eve of my birthday, bare, no makeup, with my hair still wet, being surprised with a cake and flowers by a person so special to me. He even managed to surprise me with a puppy and went out of his way to prepare a relaxing weekend getaway for me in Batangas,” she narrated.

Although she did not name the man, it can be deduced that it may be fellow actor Dominic Roque, the special guy in her life now.
Alonzo also expressed gratefulness to God for a “life so beautiful.”
“I wouldn’t want it any other way,” she said.
Alonzo is one of the latest artists to sign with the Kapuso network, after years as a Kapamilya star. JB
