One week from today, we will be meeting the new Miss Universe. While we are hoping that it will be Maxine Medina, we’re having a hard time saying good-bye to Pia Wurtzbach’s reign. She’s clearly feeling the same way as she got a little emotional at last night’s tribute dinner.
She stumbled in giving thanks and noted the unique postion she has as current queen, ” I may not have had my first walk as Miss Universe but I will have the most…but at least I would have the best final walk in my home country.” She recalled her dramatic coronation in which she wasn’t able to have her first official walk as Miss Universe due to Steve Harvey’s mistake.
Featuring flashback videos, song and dance numbers, Pia had a chance to look back at her incredible year last night. The fellow queens of this year’s competition were in attendance, happily intercepting each other’s social media posts.
For the most of it, Pia looked like she had fun along with current flame Marlon Stonckinger. We also want to say how great she looked in that impeccable pantsuit.
