Miss FIT Philippines stages first face-to-face edition

LAS PIÑAS CITY, Philippines — After holding a virtual competition for its maiden edition last year, the Miss FIT Philippines pageant was finally able to stage a live physical coronation event for this year’s installment of the competition.

Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna was crowned 2021 Miss FIT Philippines in ceremonies staged at Palazzo Verde in Las Piñas City on Nov. 28. She bested 18 other aspirants from all over the country to inherit the title from Malka Shaver.

The program was streamed in real-time on the pageant’s official Facebook page.

The Miss FIT Philippines pageant, mounted by ProMedia and The Belle Salon, promotes holistic wellness and seeks ladies who embody the contest’s three pillars — face (F), intelligence (I), and toned physique (T).

Settling for the first runner-up spot was Fatima Kate Bisan of Sarangani, while Mikaela Leonardo of Parañaque City was proclaimed second runner-up.

Also proclaimed runners-up were Patricia McGee of Olongapo City and Anjame Magbitang of Hagonoy, Bulacan.

Aduana’s Miss FIT Philippines crown comes with a P200,000 prize pot.

Reigning Miss Bikini Philippines Chelsea Fernandez is the national director of the 2021 edition of the Miss FIT Philippines pageant. She also sat in the judging panel, which also includes international titleholders, 2017 Miss Earth Karen Ibasco and 2020 Miss Eco Teen International Roberta Tamondong.
