Instagram crochet account Ilyang Ilyang started out with its founder Daphne trying to make a bikini top, which she never finished.
A year later, she is now one of the local crochet artists reimagining this craft by creating off-kilter, “sometimes” functional, but nonetheless original handmade pieces from hats and gloves to tops and a multi-pocket vest. Think your granny’s crocheted things but more fun and more out-of-the-box.
