Actress-vlogger Rica Peralejo believes that the joy of the season is in giving and sharing.
Peralejo has also observed that her two sons, Philip and Manu, have already felt the spirit of Christmas in many ways, as per her Instagram post yesterday, Dec. 25.
“Our tree came up two days before Christmas, yet they felt Christmas everywhere — malls, my sister’s place, in the love and joy of their cousins,” she said.

Citing that “when you cannot provide the atmosphere for the season, you happen to find it in others,” Peralejo feels that one can be a light in the darkest hours of other people.
“And this is what it means, I guess, to be salt and light — to be the light for others when theirs is out,” she said, noting that her family found “bright spots in a lot of places this season,” for which they are grateful.
“And I think that is what we must always do, reflect the Light of Christ always, when we can, so when others are buried in dark seasons, we can share with them what they cannot muster on their own, she said. “Open our homes, serve with our strength, offer a meal, share a good cry.”
“Thinking of a lot of people who are in much sadness and distress in this season,” she added. “How I wish I can open our home to all of you.” JB
