Soul singer Kyla Alvarez is positive that the pandemic will eventually end soon. And when that happens, she has an array of photos and videos that documented this phase in her family’s life, all of which she can look back on.

Kyla kept a record of the beginning of the pandemic through videos and pictures, some of which she shared on her Instagram page yesterday, Jan. 4.

“Some snaps and videos of us at the beginning of the pandemic when most of Toby’s baby front teeth were falling off,” she quipped, while expressing how surprised she is about how quickly time flies.

“Has it really been [two] years already???!! So much has changed since then,” she said.

Kyla looks at the recent past as being not too bad because she was able to spend the time with her family.

“We’ve shared so many good as well as bad times together. We had nothing but time in our hands. We’ve shared a bond that I think will get us through the tough times. Family will always be our source of comfort and safety,” she said.

Although there is another surge in the numbers of people who are afflicted with COVID-19, Kyla feels that hope is still present, and reminded fans that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

“I know it sounds bleak right now, as cases are rising again, but please don’t lose hope and hold on to your faith. Pandemics always end. Nothing is permanent. Everything comes and goes. At least that’s what I read. But I believe it will end soon,” she said.

“Let’s be kind with our words and actions,” the singer stressed. “I think that’s what we all need right now.” JB
