We’re still trying to digest that Beyoncé might be able to recreate Destiny’s Child in 2035 when she dropped the most glorious pregnancy announcement on Instagram. Now, she decided to make our lives better by blessing us with more photos from the maternity shoot. What in the world did we do to deserve this gift?
Beyoncé posted the collection of photos on her website accompanied with a poem “I Have Three Hearts” by Warsan Shire.
To help make this maternity shoot a reality, Queen Bey worked with young conceptual artist Awol Erizku who is known for his lavish style and visuals with inspiration taken from art history—and it shows with the theme of the shoot. Beyoncé looking like Eve? NBD. How about her underwater shots that’s nothing less than art? Yeah, she did that swathed in sheer cloth. Beyoncé on top of a car filled with flowers? It happened, yes.
She now took pregnancy announcements to the next level, we can’t even deal. We, mere mortals, do have a lot to learn. And JSYK, her Instagram announcement is now the most liked post by garnering more than eight million likes in less than a day. She basically knocked off Selena Gomez from the top spot with such ease.
