Actress Chynna Ortzleza happily recalled the time when Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano proposed to marry her.
Ortaleza’s recollection came via a post on her Instagram page today, Feb. 2, where she shared a throwback photo of them just right after the proposal.
“Nakita ko nanaman ang aming simpleng selfie nung nag propose si Kean ng mas formal,” she said in her post. (I saw again our simple selfie when Kean proposed in a more formal way.)
Cipriano, she said, already bought the ring that they chose together, the details of which they agreed on, to be clear about the investment they are pouring into it.
Ortaleza revealed that “initially there was no ring when he asked me to be his wife and I was so happy because he was so sincere.”
“Nothing to document that but the HD in our heads. It is truly one of the most beautiful memories that only he and I share,” she said.
After the formal proposal came a rollercoaster of emotions for the couple, who both cried and laughed. Only afterwards did they think about taking their photo.
Ortaleza then advised fans to “treasure the love that God has bestowed upon your hearts and learn to see its many languages [and] faces.”
She closed her recollections by thanking her husband who cooked for her this morning, to which Cipriano replied, “I love you so much [emoji] tara kain na tayo.” (Come on, let’s eat.)
Ortaleza and Cipriano married twice, in a civil wedding in 2015 and in a church wedding in 2017. JB
