Why Connie Sison doesn’t like driving anymore

TV host and news anchor Connie Sison tried driving again recently, but soon enough she was reminded of why she doesn’t even like to take the wheel anymore.

Sison talked about how difficult it is to drive in the country nowadays in her Instagram post yesterday, Feb. 12, where she shared a photo of herself while she was driving.

“Drove myself today from work. Nats, my driver, became my passenger going home this morning,” Sison said. “Most (not all) motorists kasi naman are trying to get one over the others, neglecting traffic rules and etiquette. Ano ba? Parang mauubusan ng daan,” she said, seemingly exasperated. (What is this? It’s as if they will run out of road.)

With this experience, Sison decided that from hereon, she will just ask her driver Nats to drive her.

“I’Il just let Nats do what he does best then,” she said. “Nakaka-miss lang mag drive ng maayos ang lahat noong unang panahon.” (I just miss driving in the old days, when everything was still in order.)

For Sison, “not driving in Manila during rush hour means less stress” and “low cortisol [levels]” which equals to a happy and healthier Connie. JB
