When it comes to shoes, we often gravitate towards what’s practical and what’ll stand out. We can get all the kitten heels we want and still look for a pair with quirky elements like fringe or fur (i.e. Gucci fur slides). Good thing there’s a local Instagram store which lets us get the best of both worlds.
Fringy has a fun-looking feed filled with customized kicks. They’re best known for providing leather fringes to any shoe―be it sneakers, loafers, and even boots. These fringes come in different colors and designs like hand-painted ones to match different shoes. All you have to do is tie them to your laces and your pair will look like you pulled them out of the `70s.
Aside from fringes, they also have fluffy pompoms which you can mix and match. While the sneakers with multi-colored pompoms are eye-catching, I’m personally loving the red pompom clipped on a white stiletto.
Though you may think that P595 for a pair of plain fringes might be a bit costly—just remember that you can use these on different pairs, and that it’s affordable to get the fringed style you always wanted.
But hey, if these small accessories can add more personality to your basic shoe, you know you need to cop a few.
