The Embassy of Spain and the National Museum of the Philippines recently unveiled “The Longest Journey: The First Journey Around the World” exhibit, now on display at the National Museum of Fine Arts. At the opening were: (from left) Archbishop Charles John Brown III; National Museum director Jeremy Robert M. Barns; Luli Arroyo-Bernas, chair of the board of trustees, National Museum; Spain Ambassador Jorge Moragas Sanchez; and Dr. Andrew L. Tan, chair of Alliance Global Group. The exhibit chronicles important milestones of the first circumnavigation of the world by Ferdinand Magellan and Sebastian Elcano.
