Vlogger and actress Sachzna feels that the best way to forget a failed romance is to focus on one’s self, do things that will keep you busy, and having a good support system.
By loving herself, she hardly noticed that she has gotten over the pain of her failed relationship with her ex-boyfriend. This she shared during the online press conference for the YouTube series “How To Move On In 30 Days,” last March 30.
And to validate the title of her project, she said that she really does believe it is possible to move on from a failed romance in only 30 days.
“In just 30 days, feeling ko puwede iyon, lalo na kapag nag-focus ka sa sarili mo,” she stressed.
(In just 30 days, I feel it is possible to move on, especially if you focus on yourself.)
But this is not to say that one will not feel the pain ever again. The pain would instead slowly fade away as you busy yourself with activities, she explained.
Sachzna is also grateful to her mom who is with her every step of the way whenever she goes through a breakup.
“Siya talaga ang iniiyakan ko kada broken heart ko. So, nakita na niya ang pain ko since day one hanggang sa last ex ko,” she said.
(It is mom whom I cry to each time I am brokenhearted. So she has seen my pain since day one, all the way to my last ex-boyfriend.)
To also make things easier after a breakup, Sachzna advises every brokenhearted person to stop stalking their exes.
“Nasasaktan lang natin ang sarili natin. So, iyon ang mga tinigilan ko para ako makapag-move on. Okay sa akin ang unfollow and block,” she added.
(We just hurt ourselves by doing that. I stopped doing that for me to be able to move on. I find it okay to unfollow and block the exes.)
Sachzna plays Anastacia, an attention-seeking character in the series which premiered last April 4. JB
