Catriona Gray looks into slow fashion, products from special needs communities

When in Singapore, former Miss Universe Catriona Gray loves to drop by a one-stop-shop for-a-cause destination.

This she revealed in her Instagram page last Tuesday, May 17, through a short video of her shopping experience, and where she talked about the products she likes from “homegrown Singaporean labels.”

Gray went through some Animal Project pieces which she referred to as a “really a heartwarming initiative.”

“All of these pieces, the art works are designed by children with special needs,” she noted while showing the label’s pillows and mugs.

For jewelry, she showed pieces from Eden+Elie, particularly handcrafted necklaces, earrings and chains.

For bags, Gray noted the “functionality and design” of Ling Wu, while showing off a white mini shoulder bag and a brown handbag.

For clothes, she displayed pieces from the Gin Lee Studio, another favorite of hers, being “a slow fashion brand that incorporates industrial design with fashion.”

Gray also looked at a piece from Reckless Ericka which she likes for its “bold designs.”

Last month, the beauty queen was in Australia to visit her parents, particularly her dad who was hospitalized but has since gotten well. JB
