How to Cop Emma Stone’s Oscar-Winning Glow

I was browsing Instagram Stories this morning (as you should) and saw my friend post about Emma Stone’s look on the red carpet. “Wow! Her HMU is flawless,” she wrote and I agree with her 101 percent. She looked good before and after taking home that Oscar!

“Emma’s look was all about 1930s Hollywood Glamour—her makeup was inspired by the romantic paintings by Dante Gabriel Rossetti,” said her makeup artist Rachel Goodwin. Emma looked like she was glowing and that smile made it more arresting, so I quickly took note of how her glittery lids made her look bright-eyed, how her pinched pink cheeks registered on camera, and lastly, how her bold lip color nailed the whole look.

Set your base by applying a lightweight product like the Velvet Matte Skin Tint from NARS. It’s easy-to-use, so it’s perfect for when you’re rushing out in the morning and it has SPF too.

Fill in your brows to make it look fuller. This way, it’ll perfectly frame your face. Reach for Happy Skin’s Arch Definer and Brow Mascara (P949) in medium brown.

For your eyes, sweep a matte chocolate brown eyeshadow on your lids and gradually add dimension by topping it off with gold shimmer. You can use the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette by Too Faced—it features a warmer palette compared to the original Chocolate Bar.

To achieve a natural blush, Emma used an exclusive NARS product that has yet to be released—the Orgasm Liquid Blush. For us mere mortals, we can stick to the powder version for now. It doesn’t hurt that the light gold specs it gives off doubles as highlighter.

Lastly, seal the deal with a bold lip in a deep mahogany shade. Rachel used the NARS Audacious lipstick in Mona for Emma’s winning lip.
