It has been 20 years since he met his wife Liza Diño, but singer-actor-director Ice Seguerra still feels love for her.
“Mahal na kita mula noon. Lalo pa kitang mahal ngayon,” Seguerra said via his Instagram page yesterday, Aug. 24, where he also shared a throwback photo of them taken in 2002.
(I already loved you then. I love you even more now.)
Seguerra recalled the times that he would go to Diño’s rehearsals and patiently wait for her, just to see her.
“Ngayon, naghihintay pa rin matapos ka sa trabaho pero ok lang, hindi ako mapapagod maghintay. Kasi makasama ka lang, masaya na ako,” he said.
(Now, I still wait for you to finish your work but it’s OK, I will not get tired of waiting. It’s because just to be with you already makes me happy.)

Seguerra also recalled the time when they started in their relationship with no labels and just enjoyed each other’s company.
“Hindi natin alam kung saan tayo dadalhin ng buhay (We did not know where life would take us) but we lived in the moment,” he said, also remembering the time when they would just stay in a fast food restaurant or in the car, just talking to each other.
“Pero mas masarap ‘yung pakiramdam ngayon kasi alam kong tayo na. Habangbuhay,” he said. (But it feels even better now because I already know it is us, through the rest of our lives.) JB
