Ready to step into my new presence

Ready to step into my new presence
Tessa Prieto-Valdes

“The inward battle—against our mind, our wounds and the residues of the past—is more terrible than outward battle.”Swami Sivananda

In my quest to become fully whole again, integrating my internal healing and external experiences has been a challenging and life-altering forward process. Through aspiring for this oneness of mind, body and spirit, I have drawn the most support from family and my quiet time with the Lord. Centering myself with their love and compassion, I found my being lighter, and I was finally able to embrace my new exciting chapter. Yes, the inward battle has been fought with inner strength and laser-focus purpose and with that armor of hope and love, I am ready to step into my new presence.

The yellow brick road ahead has been cleared and I find myself skipping happily forward on that path, because finally, I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. Enjoying this new sense of bliss, I have been going about my social life just like my prepandemic life, perhaps even better. Without having to worry about expressing my true self, I feel so liberated from my fear and anxiety of desperately trying to fix my past.

Inner glow

To add to my inner glow, my journey has also been beautified with Sofwave, the newest and most in-demand treatment for skin tightening and lifting that’s been making waves all over the world. With over 20 clinics (and counting!) in less than one year, Sofwave is truly making a huge splash.

I did my Sofwave session with Dr. Issa Cellona at her clinic, Skincell Advanced Aesthetic Clinics. Dr. Issa explained to me that the production of collagen, which is the building block that makes our skin look smooth, happens at 1.5 millimeter depth. This is the precise depth of penetration that Sofwave focuses its energy to effectively stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Sofwave uses Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam, the most advance ultrasound technology today, to make your skin go from sagging to smooth in as little as one treatment! I saw the results with my own eyes and indeed, my skin has changed for the better without going deeper. That’s smart science right there. And the best part: there is no down time!

To celebrate Sofwave’s success in the Philippines, Sofwave Surfers and special guests came together at the Manila Yacht Club last week for SpectruMed’s Exclusive Sunset Cruise Affair. Headed by Doron and Cherryl Glazer, the top doctors in the country, together with Wolfgang Kramer, Sofwave vice president for Asia-Pacific (APAC), we cruised around the beautiful Manila Bay aboard a luxurious yacht. Sofwave Surfers celebrated with overflowing Moët and the most sumptuous spread, all with the breathtaking Manila Bay sunset as our background.

Renowned California dermatologist and recipient of the Exceptional Women in Medicine award Dr. Arisa Ortiz shared her experience as a fellow Sofwave Surfer while cruising on the Happy Life Yacht. She revealed how this breakthrough treatment, which comes with double US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for lifting and tightening, is changing the world of aesthetics. Sofwave is the only device of its kind to achieve this incredible double US FDA clearance, and Dr. Ortiz’s treatment of choice for fine lines and wrinkles. Philippine-Australian connection

Fresh from my session with Dr. Issa, I attended the cocktail event of the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC), an organization dedicated to maximizing the potential of trade and investment between Australia and the Philippines. The 50-member delegation from across Australia is in the Philippines for a five-day visit to explore trade, tourism and investment opportunities and other areas of collaboration with key government agencies, business organizations, and private sector representatives.

Led by Philippine Ambassador to Australia, Her Excellency Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, the business delegation is a network that truly connects both countries. It is the very first Australian business mission to visit the Philippines at the onset of the Marcos administration and will include investment briefings, business-to-business meetings and a visit to the economic zones in Clark, Bataan and Subic.
