Taylor Swift has officially announced her newest album “Midnights” in a post made via her Instagram. Set to debut on October 21st, this will be Swift’s tenth full-length to date.
“Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight.” the Folklore singer captioned in her post. In a second image, the singer notes, “This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams,” she explained. “The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go search – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve … we’ll meet ourselves.”
Simultaneously, the Grammy award winner shared the big news with her fans on the 13th anniversary of Kanye West notoriously interrupting her acceptance speech at the VMA’s. The album’s debut — October 21 — is the same date as Kim Kardashian, Kanye West’s ex-wife’s birthday.
