Robinsons Naga is the center stage for Peñafrancia Festival 2022 activities

Robinsons Naga shows its support to the Festival and takes pride in hosting some of the biggest events of the Peñafrancia Festival 2022.

Bicolandia’s premier shopping mall is one with Naga City and Bicol Region in celebrating the Peñafrancia Festival 2022. This year marks the 312th devotion for the Nuestra Senora de Peñafrancia. Civic and religious events will resume this year in Naga City after a gap of two years due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Kicking off the celebration is the Public Presentation of the Miss Bicolandia 2022 happening on August 28, 2022. This will be the public presentation of the official candidates of Miss Bicolandia 2022 happening at the Mall’s Atrium. The public presentation of the official candidates of Misters of Filipinas Bicolandia 2022 will also be at Robinsons Naga on September 7, 2022.

For the much anticipated Peñafrancia Weekend Sale 2022, Robinsons Naga’s partner stores such as Robinsons Department Stores, Handyman Do It Best, Daiso Japan, Robinsons Appliances, Bench, Guess, Levi’s, Penshoppe, Soleil, Vans and more will be offering up to 70% OFF in select items on all weekends of September starting September 9!

Robinsons Naga will be the home of two major events of the Archdiocese of Caceres:  the first is the Manto and Crown Exhibit to be held on August 30 to September 7, 2022 at the Atrium. This will feature the various manto, crown and aureola designs that has been worn by Our Lady of Peñafrancia through the years. After 12 long years, this will be the first time that these artifacts will be exhibited publicly in a mall setting. Moreover, Archbishop Rolando Octavus Joven Tria Tirona, O.C.D, D.D. of Archdiocese of Caceres will officiate a mass as part of the opening ceremony. Another major event is the much awaited Bishop Gainza Trade Fair 2022 happening on the 8th of September until the 18th. With the support of the Department of Trade and Industry  (DTI) and the Cam Sur Chamber of Commerce, this year’s Bishop Gainza Trade Fair is expected  to be bigger and better with over 80 exhibitors ranging from delicacies, handicrafts and products from local farmers and businesses.

DTI will be holding their very first Uma-usbong Fair 2022 on September 1 – 4, 2022.  This Trade Fair will feature agri-products from local farmers and manufacturers of Bicol in partnership with the Department of Agriculture.

More exciting activities are lined-up in other dates in this August and in September.   On August 31, MNL48, all-girl sing and dance group is set to have a mall show dubbed as MNL 48 No way Man Mall Show. The   4th PKL Bicol Karatedo Grand Prix National Championships is on September 3-4, the 3rd Lakan ng Isarog: National Body Building Competition on September 10 and the Mayon Kennel Club Dog Show 2022: All Breed Championship on September 24.

Art and Culture exhibits will also be stated during Peñafrancia Festival 2022. Robinsons Naga will be hosting the art exhibit of Kintab Artists Group on September 6 and the Salighayin 2022: Peñafrancia Plant, Aquaculture & Art Expo of the Camarines Sur Plant and Aquatic Community on September 14.

Robinsons Place Naga will also do their community service during the Festival.  A  Blood Donation Drive initiated by the Banker’s Association Camarines Sur, Inc. (BACSI) in partnership with the BMC Blood Center will be held  this September 3 and the International Week of Deaf People, advocacy program of the Bicolandia Deaf Society Inc (BDSI) and Naga City Deaf Society (NCDS) which will showcase various skills and experiences of the Deaf Community on September 23.
