There’s one thing that Coleen Garcia’s son Amari is so passionate about – flowers, and it surprises her to no end.

Garcia made the revelation in her Instagram page today, Sept. 22, where she shared some photos with Amari and husband Billy Crawford while in Paris, France for a short vacation.

“I don’t know why but he is obsessed with them! They’re his comfort item, and sometimes his cause of distress if we’re not able to stop and pick them,” she said. “Ang talas pa naman ng mata niya (He has a sharp eye), cause he can spot them even when we’re in a moving car.”

Garcia shared how Amari would just love to hold flowers and stare closely at them. This “could either help start or start tantrums.”

But Garcia found a solution.

“I always [keep] fake flowers in my bag to calm him down or distract him whenever he’s in a bad mood, and it works 99% of the time. He gives a new meaning to ‘stop and smell the roses,’” she said.

Garcia is in Paris to accompany Crawford in his competition for “Danse avec les stars,” the French version of “Dancing with the Stars,” where Crawford and his dance partner Fauve Hautot received four buzzes and a standing ovation, qualifying them for the next round. JB
