Dimples Romana addresses daughter about loving ‘even from afar’

Celebrity mom and entrepreneur Dimples Romana penned an open letter for her daughter Callie who was briefly home with their family recently, in an apparent short break from her aviation studies in Australia.

Romana also shared an old card Callie wrote on with a crayon, via her Instagram page today, Sept. 25.

“Dear mommy, I wish you could stay with me always and I’m sorry [for] the bad things I do to you and that will hurt you,” Callie wrote.

In response, Romana wrote, “Dear Ate, I wish that too. But when you truly love someone, you let them go and grow their own wings. You want them to thrive and be the best versions of themselves and you cheer them on and love them more even from afar. And everyday you can only hope that they find their way back to you and rest assured that when they do, the love will not have only remained, it would’ve endured, got stronger and even deeper through time and distance.”

Romana also revealed that her daughter isn’t much of a talker, preferring to express herself through letters.

“She likes to write about her feelings. And somehow I thank the heavens for that because then even when I lose my sense of memory, I still have all her letters to remind me of her love and thoughtfulness,” Romana said.

“She was home for a week and next thing I know she’s back in Australia,” she added. “See you soon [Callie]. Best week of my life, seeing all my kids in one place.” JB
