Jared Leto set to launch his own skincare line

After a couple of lackluster appearances at the box office, Jared Leto through ‘Twentynine Palms’ is the latest in the line of celebrities dipping their toes in the skincare league.

Twentynine Palms launches Oct. 25.

According to a conversation between Leto and Vogue Business, Twentynine Palms will launch on October 25 and will feature 11 skincare, body care, and hair care products featuring a facial cleanser ($39), facial moisturizer ($87), hydrating serum ($69), clay mask ($95), hand and body washes (each $47) and shampoos and conditioners (each $54). There will also be a limited-edition scarf featuring artwork by Swiss artist and photographer Douglas Mandry.

The Twentynine Palms skincare line is vegan and cruelty-free. It uses ingredients from the Mojave, as well as other desert botanicals, such as prickly pear extract, fatty acid-rich amaranth plants, and hydrating evening primrose. These will be available via their website, Dover Street Market stores in New York, Los Angeles, and London, and its beauty store in Paris.

Leto’s brand aspires to go beyond skincare promising ventures and collaborations in fragrance, home goods, and design objects in the future. He shares that  “Twentynine Palms is a creative playground with many products in development. It is a place where my creative and business interests intersect.”

The man behind the recent film interpretations of Morbius and Joker, clearly has a world-class skincare, body care, and hair care routine and has finally decided to let the world in on his secrets with the Twentynine Palms launch. He is the latest in the line of celebrities to have gone outside their respective industries on the hunt for a new venture. A couple of examples include Ariana Grande’s God is a Woman body-care line products on Ulta Beauty, Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, and Brad Pitt’s Le Domaine.
