Carly Rae Jepsen isn’t back with a new album just yet, but she has blessed us with two new tracks. After teasing us on social media for the past few days, the queen CRJ unveils the full tracks for “No Drug Like Me” and “Now That I Found You,” which we first heard in the teaser for Queer Eye’s new season.
Like “Party for One,” the two new songs invite listeners to get on their feet and dance in a giddy manner. “‘Now That I Found You” tackles the high you get when a new love starts to change your life. “It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug. Which leads me to ‘No Drug Like Me,’ which is a promise I made to love in general. That when the good stuff lands my way I’ll always try to be vulnerable and brave and show all of myself—‘If you make me feel in love then I’ll blossom for you,’’ CRJ explains.

These new tracks are done in the familiar upbeat CRJ style. But what we’re craving now are songs that will give us that slow, lingering vibe like those of “All That,” “Your Type,” and also “Your Heart Is a Muscle.” Maybe we’ll have to wait for a while, but the new album will surely arrive this year.
