Dolly de Leon receives a Golden Globes nomination for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Triangle of Sadness’

It’s official, Dolly de Leon receives a Golden Globes nomination for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Triangle of Sadness’. 

This is following her outstanding performance in the Palme d’Or-winning film, alongside Woody Harrelson, Harris Dickinson, Zlatko Burić, and the late Charlbi Dean, under acclaimed director Ruben Östlund. De Leon played the character Abigail, a toilet manager turned leader, who plays a massive role in the film’s third act.

Other nominees for the Best Supporting Actress (Motion Picture) category include; Angela Bassett (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”), Kerry Condon (“The Banshees of Inisherin”), Jamie Lee Curtis (“Everything Everywhere All at Once”), and Carey Mulligan (“She Said”).

Recently, De Leon also bagged the award for Best Supporting Performance in the 2022 Los Angeles Films Critics Association Awards (LAFCA).
