To commemorate the 6th Founding Anniversary and General Assembly of Big Dreams for Little People Philippines, Inc. (BDLPP), professional designers, educators and promising student-artists conceptualized and created stylish ensembles for Filipino little people (LP).

BDLPP is a nonprofit organization that spreads awareness and advocates for the equal rights and protection of LP.

Industry experts and homegrown talents from the Fashion Design and Merchandising (FDM) Program of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde presented the looks during a fashion exhibit at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay Activity Center.

The bespoke garments, which were all given to BDLPP after the event, championed the importance of establishing a standard Filipino sizing system. This will benefit individuals of short stature and also open opportunities for future product development.

The exhibit showcased a wide range of trends and styles tailor-made for LP.

Fashion designer/educator Roxoanne Bagano-Dizon, a couturier for weddings, debuts and formal events, presented an elegant bridal gown while fashion designer/educator Ionica Abrahan Lim and Maxine Dela Cruz, a budding student-artist at Benilde FDM, styled a number of casual everyday looks.

Professional garment pattern maker Cecilia Lansang provided dresses from her shop. Fashion designer and Benilde FDM student Ulysses Caragayan, whose creations have been worn by Bea Alonzo, Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, presented daily wear for LP.
