Henry Cavill Shares First Look At ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’

Since moving on from the DCEU and Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’, it looks like Henry Cavill is once again having a go at espionage as he shares the first look at his upcoming film ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’.

Via Instagram, Cavill posted a black and white image of him together with his fellow castmates—the beard, the suspenders, and the flat caps, undoubtedly a period piece. And if you weren’t sure what this photo meant, the caption read “Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” a teaser by all accounts.

Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is directed by Guy Ritchie and alongside Cavill stars; Eiza González, Henry Golding, Alex Pettyfer, Cary Elwes, and Hero Fiennes Tiffin among others. This will be the second time Ritchie and Cavill will be teaming up together following the also spy-flick period piece ‘The Man From U.N.C.L.E’.

The film is based on the book ‘Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: How Churchill’s Secret Warriors Set Europe Ablaze and Gave Birth To Modern Black Ops’ by Damien Lewis and explores the true story of a secret WWII organization founded by Winston Churchill and Ian Fleming with the purpose of fighting against the Nazis using whatever means necessary.

There’s no specified release date as of late.
