Actress-vlogger Rica Peralejo appreciated her son Manu’s gesture of dancing with her during the middle of a worship service recently.
Peralejo initially recalled how the day went in her Instagram post today, April 3, showing photos and videos of the worship service and a visit to an expo.
“Cubao expo after service, haha ang saya pero yung MSG drop is so real afterwards,” she said in the caption.
She then recalled how the “praise and worship is too wonderful” as her youngest son “ran to dance with me in the middle of it.”
“It has always been my prayer to see my children worshiping out of their own volition and affectations… the last thing I want them to have is a hand me down faith; malayo pa tho, bata pa sila, so the examination and owning still has a long way to go but it was precious to worship with my 3-yr-old like that yesterday,” she said.
She then recalled how her son behaved while watching “Kung Fu Panda 2” “and couldn’t help but be so moved by the scene where mom panda leaves her child; he kept saying, “I don’t want to be a panda and you be a panda and you leave me…”
“Can you imagine that this is a child who merely empathizes? What could real abandonment rly feel like then? Other than that, how can I not want to live longer if I have at least one person who wants and needs me to be around? Go tell someone you need her to exist. It’s helpful. It’s healing,” she said.
She then made public her notes from the service,” saying that the “entire message just brought me to understand that false gospels make it harder for me to share Him with others because the point is always another thing and not just Him.”
