The Johann Strauss Society of the Philippines (JSSP) recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a heartwarming “Springtime in Vienna” theme at the grand ballroom of Shangri-La At The Fort.
After a long wait due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event sprang back to life with vibrant festivities, just like the season of spring.
The grand ballroom’s decor created a delightful ambiance that warmed everyone’s heart. The special feature of the program was the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra’s soulful performance of masterpieces by beloved Austrian composers.
It was wonderful to see many distinguished guests, including the diplomatic and consular corps, gracing the occasion. The hard work of the organizing committee, led by JSSP chair and event chairperson Consul General of Monaco Fortune Ledesma and JSSP president Olga Severino Martel, paid off with the success of the event.
It was indeed an enjoyable celebration of the love of music.
