Chloé and Angelina Jolie join forces for ‘Atelier Jolie’ capsule collection
Just weeks after announcing the launch of her latest business venture ‘Atelier Jolie’, Angelina Jolie is joining forces with French luxury powerhouse Chloé to launch their very first collection.
“I am building a place for creative people to collaborate with a skilled and diverse family of expert tailors, pattern makers and artisans from around the world. A place to have fun. To create your own designs with freedom. To discover yourself.” said the Oscar-winner on the brand’s official website.
Atelier Jolie will only use leftover, deadstock, and quality vintage material to create their pieces, and is also committed to shining a light on the craftsmen behind each garment.
“We hope to create a community of creativity and inspiration, regardless of socio-economic background. We will spotlight the people who play a part in each creation. We will bring together a diverse team, including apprenticeships for refugees and other talented, underappreciated groups, with positions of dignity based on skill. And as we work with global artisans and creators, we hope to help share the richness of their cultural heritage and support the development of their own businesses.” notes Jolie.

In a statement made by Chloé, Atelier’s first collection aims to “spotlights authentic women-to-women connections, and honour both brands’ respective commitments to improving social and environmental sustainability with greater transparency and accountability.”
The collection will also be co-designed by the luxury house’s creative director Gabriela Hearst.
No announcements have been made regarding the official release date of the collaboration, but both brands have shared that further details on the capsule will be disclosed soon.
