“It’s Showtime” host Kim Chiu excitedly shared a glimpse of her rest house in Tagaytay which she calls her “fruit of labor” and her “safe place.”

Chiu, in a recent Instagram post, showed her followers her modern resthouse that she first flexed on December 31, 2021. The four-story house has an open layout and sits atop a hill that overlooks the Taal Volcano.

“Sobrang special talaga ang inihanda ko dahil finally, ipapakita ko na sa inyo ang aking fruit of labor! Yes! As promised, dadalhin ko kayo sa aking rest house kung saan dugo’t pawis talaga ang aking naging puhunan. Para talaga sa pangarap, kailangan nating magsikap,” she said in her vlog, which was uploaded in her YouTube channel.

Chiu said this place has been her place of refuge when she wants to recharge and take a breather from her busy schedule.

The house itself has glass panels and balcony. Since December 2021, it was renovated to include a canopied ceiling. It also features a small pool, and an outdoor kitchen and lounge area.

“Dito ko talaga tsina-charge ang sarili ko. Kunyari, away from the city, gusto ko magpahinga, lumanghap ng fresh air,” she added. (This is where I charge myself. Let’s just say away from the city, I would like to take a rest, smell fresh air).

As she toured her followers through her house’s exterior, she said that it has been her dream to build her dream house that is close to nature.

“Isa ‘to sa dream ko na magkaroon, and I’m very happy na nandito na sya… So di naman imposible na mangarap ang isang tao. Basta trabahuin mo rin… Never underestimate the power of your dreams. Dream big, dream hard. Kasi once minanifest mo yan sa sarili mo and lagi mo nilalagay sa utak mo, isa yon sa mga motivation mo na maachieve, mangyayari at mangyayari sya.” she said.

(This has been one of my dreams to have, and I’ve very happy that it’s here. It’s not impossible to dream big, for as long as you will work for it. Never underestimate the power of your dreams. Dream big, dream hard.  Once you manifest that to yourself and instill it in your mind, that would be your motivation, and it will really happen.)

At the same time, the “It’s Showtime” host announced that she has reached three million subscribers. EDV
