gift giving and art session

MANILA, Philippines — In a collaborative effort to support the women and children of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Haven for Women, the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) partnered with Paint it Fun, NextGen, and I-Fern for a special gift-giving and art painting session.

The event took place on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the DSWD Safeway Haven for Women in Muntinlupa.

Members of PMAP and other volunteers, including I-Fern owner Ms. Kim Abelar and her I-Fern Mini Ladies, actively participated in the gift-giving and painting activities. The event was designed to provide a memorable and uplifting experience for the attendees, many of whom have faced significant challenges.

“We were so thrilled to collaborate with Paint it Fun, NextGen, and I-Fern for this special event. Through our collective efforts, we hope to bring happiness, inspiration, and healing to the women and children of DSWD Haven for Women, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey,” said Atty. Margarita Gutierrez, president of PMAP.

Paint it Fun, a well-known art studio, played a key role in organizing the therapeutic art painting session. This activity allowed the women and children to express themselves creatively, aiding in their healing and self-expression.

NextGen, a non-profit organization, contributed by donating essential items like clothing, skin care, and hygiene kits. These donations ensure that the beneficiaries have access to basic necessities.

I-Fern, a health and wellness company, supported the event by providing vitamins, supplements, and hygiene kits. These contributions underscore the importance of maintaining good health for both physical and emotional recovery.

PMAP, a leading organization representing professional models in the Philippines, and its partners expressed their gratitude to Paint it Fun, NextGen, and I-Fern for their support and generosity. Their contributions were instrumental in creating a meaningful and impactful event for the women and children at the DSWD Haven for Women.
