The animated adaptation of Riot Game’s widely popular game League of Legends was a massive hit during its release in 2021. Arcane won Outstanding Animated Program for the Primetime Emmy Awards and Best Adaptation for The Game Awards among other accolades.

Arcane Season 2 is set to continue the tragic tale of Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell)—with an all-but-confirmed fan theory thrown into the mix.

The 40-or-so-second teaser showcased Singed (Brett Tucker) in the process of a blood transfusion with a familiar monster—Warwick. A popular fan theory connected the werewolf-esque creature with Vander (JB Blanc), Vi and Jinx’s guardian, who passed away in season one.

Warwick, according to League of Legends lore was “transformed by agonizing experiments” and fans suggest Vander endured that very fate—now a nightmarish augmentation.

Arcane Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix this November 2024.
