Tattoo removal and hair transplant

CAN you imagine George Clooney without hair? Not sexy.

Twettie bird and the Tazmanian Devil were probably cool tattoos to have in college, but not when you’re in your 30s. My mom warned me against tattooing and I’m glad I listened.

Last week I attended a press event at Dr. Aivee Aguilar Teo’s skin laser clinic, and was amazed by the new machines and procedures they were offering.

For all those who have tattoos they regret having (and I’m sure that’s quite a number), the clinic offers the Revlite laser.

I’m sure there are people who want to remove the names of their ex-partners on their bodies. Well, they can try Revlite.

Tattoo removal used to be a long painful process, but this procedure guarantees minimal pain and almost zero downtime.

Best of all it is able to erase your tattoo 100-percent.

If this machine can make tattoos disappear you can bet it can also be used for pigment removal in every part of your body. So if you have dark elbows and knees you are insecure about there is finally a solution at hand.

Acne scar reduction, laser toning for one’s skin color and skin rejuvenation, reduction of wrinkles and fine lines can also be treated by the machine.

Hair transplant

Dr. Teo has also just launched the Hair Restoration Center, with the assistance of Dr. Jose Crisanto, a hair-transplant specialist with 20 years of experience in New York with the Elliot and Thomas medical group.

While I was there I was able to watch a guy having his hair transplanted. I have three boys and already I am praying they get their hair from my husband’s side or else they will be lying on that table when they reach 30.

A friend of mine once asked her husband if he would rather be bald or have a belly. Well, for those who have thinning hair or are actually balding, read on.

The Hair Restoration Center will incorporate all the latest in hair restoration to give their patients the most cutting-edge and advance methods to check thinning scalps. They will be offering “triple therapy,” which is the first of its kind, combining Growth Factor Stem Cell Therapy, the latest hair transplantation techniques, and the latest hair-restoration therapy.

Hair Restoration Center will also be giving patients imported oral as well tropical medications for the most comprehensive and complete treatment for thinning scalps.

What was most interesting to me was watching the hair transplantation. I saw the four major steps done: donor harvesting (a small strip of hair is removed from the back of the head); graft preparation (hair follicles are separated); recipient site design and preparation (surgeon prepares the shape and angle of where the hair will be transplanted); and placement of new hair (follicle is implanted in thinning area).

The patient was half awake and he seemed to be in quite tolerable pain, which should be expected. Personally, I would suggest—if you can afford it— to have yourself knocked out if you have low pain tolerance.

What’s great is that the clinic certifies the treatment is 100-percent effective and safe. What more do you need to know?
