This forensic science class lets you live your CSI dreams

To anyone who’s spent more than half of their life pretending to be in Bones or CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, loved their dissecting activity in Biology class, or has the five-star patience for details, it’s time to get your gloves on.

The Department of Behavioral Sciences of University of the Philippines Manila announced that they’re offering short courses on forensic science. Time to plot your schedule, because classes will start on Jul. 22 at the City State Hotel in Ermita, Manila. Forensic science is a multilayered field which includes science and law.

If it’s your first time navigating the world of finger prints and nerve-racking analysis, there’s a session for beginners on Jul. 22 to 24 (P4,000). On the other hand, an advanced course is offered on Jul. 25 to 26 (P6,000). Discounted rates—P3,500 for beginners and P5,500 for pros—can be availed by students, PWDs, and senior citizens.
