Sandara Park fully takes on a new role as the Korea-Philippines Friendship Ambassador. She took to Instagram to express how happy she is because of it.
The honor was formally given to her during the joint celebration of Philippine Independence Day and Korea’s Migrant Workers Day named “Bayanihan sa Korea 2017.”
The singer after all knows a thing or two about the Philippines’ love for South Korea and vice-versa. She started out her career here in Star Circle Quest before moving on to join the K-Pop band 2NE1, of their split which became an international hit.
She already foreshadowed the role when she tagged #PhilippinesFriendshipAmbassador as she attended the Philippines’ Women’s Month celebrations in Korea a few months ago.
Nice to know that the international star, who even got a shoutout from Vogue, seems to have the Philippines in heart and is even using her fame to bridge more connections.
