It was so warm that evening, dahlings, but that did not stop our town’s alta sociedad from dashing to McKinley Road for that in-demand magazine, Philippine Tatler, which hosted a trés exclusive happening of Tatler’s Homes Volume 3, held in a gorgeous residence that was a perfect foil to the mind-boggling homes shown on large Bang and Olufsen screens.
Philippine Tatler, with its dedicated managing director Irene Martel Francisco, partnered with the popular, brilliant GM of Living Innovations, Ferdie Ong, no less, and Visa country manager Iain Jamieson, who welcomed the well-heeled who arrived in full force, dahling.
There was smooth lounge music, while the namedroppables chit-chatted and sipped chilled champagne from their flute glasses, along with French rosé wine and vodka cranberry cocktails that gave us a nice high, as we nibbled Asian-inspired cocktail food that was there for the picking all throughout the event, palanggas.
The eye-catching, landscaped, sprawling garden of the home had loads of guests outside, standing or sitting on the cozy-comfy Dedon furniture, natch!
“This is totally one of those perfect evenings that we of Visa are pleased to invite our special clients to,” Jamieson remarked with a toast, palanggas.
Tatler’s Homes Volume 3 showcases the awesome residences in the country, and features fabulous dwellings from Hong Kong, Provençe and Macau. It focuses on the interiors of a mega yacht based in the Mediterranean, dahlings, and the exotic charms of a gorgeous hotel in Mykonos, Greece. There are definitely tons of items for the readers’ pleasure, including ultra-luxe furniture, accessories and accents for the abode.
“Our Homes Volume 3 issue is where feelings of enjoyment and grace emanate, a special feat that clearly brought all that to the fore,” explained our hostess, Irene M. Francisco, which brought loud applause from the chi-chi crowd, dahlings.
And before the happening came to an end, Irene announced it was our ace photographer Alex Van Hagen’s birthday. To his surprise, a cake was brought out, from which Alex-blew out another year of his incredible photographic experience, palanggas.

When it comes to flips-flops, one of the renowned Brazilian brands, Ipanema, came into the spotlight, inspired by animals in the wild. The setting at Bonifacio High Street was totally transformed into a mystical urban jungle, as Ipanema’s new Urban Jungle Runway collection was paraded for a night of fun and total enchantment, featuring the colorful and exotic vibe of the beaches of Brazil, which the brand has been known for since it was established back in 1971, would you believe, dahlings?
Gorgeous faces like Enchong Dee, Ornussa Cadness and Peter Norrdell, among others, spiced up the night with their inner fashion animals, palanggas.
