Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD) is dubbed as Dubai’s very own Fashion Week. It’s a four-day event, and the sixth and most recent season was held last week in Mina a’ Salam in Madinat Jumeirah. The event provides a platform and direction for fashion in the region. Key components of FFWD include fashion shows and presentations by couture houses, ready-to-wear brands, and accessory designers in the Middle East.
The Dubai Design District also sponsored the D3 Fashion Talks to foster industry discussion, featuring speakers like Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist, Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty, and Imran Amed of The Business of Fashion.
