Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s children continue to buck the stereotypes associated with the offspring of famous parents by living their lives exactly how they see fit, regardless of how offbeat their choices are. This time, their 17-year-old son Jaden asserts his himself by being the first male to front the spring/summer 2016 women’s campaign for Louis Vuitton. Handpicked by creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere himself, the campaign was shot by legendary photographer Bruce Weber. The campaign also features models Jean Campbell, Sarah Brannon, and Rianne Van Rompaey.

Jaden wears a see-through fishnet top with tassels underneath a leather moto jacket, over matching embellished skirts with the rest of the female models. As his father once said:
This wouldn’t be the first time that the Smith’s eldest child has rocked gender neutral fashion. Last year, he tweeted about his difficulty with maneuvering himself in a dress with no pants underneath:
That Moment When Your Wearing A Dress With No Pants And You Swerve Way To Hard.

The spring/summer 2016 collection, which Nicolas has described as “post-cyber,” also enlists Final Fantasy XIII video game character Lightning as another face of a separate campaign, signaling the creative director’s “commitment to make Louis Vuitton as intriguing as possible to Generation Z and beyond.”
