Excluding Miss Universe Philippines’ Chelsea Manalo’s crowning moment, some of the night’s most memorable took place online
Bulacan’s Chelsea Manalo is this year’s Miss Universe Philippines. She emerged victorious against pageant favorites such as Christi McGarry, Ahtisa Manalo, and Alexie Brooks, and will be competing in Mexico later this year.
From Marina Summers and Michelle Dee’s opening performance to Manalo’s coronation mishap, the dazzling comptetition was chock-full of memorable moments. And yet, some of the night’s best (or hilarious) took place online.

A passionate Alden Richards
The “Hello, Love, Goodbye” star earned massive praise for his hosting skills during his second straight year in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant. But what caught the viewers’ attention both in the arena and online was not his eloquence nor his charm but his passionate and “aggressive” delivery. Netizens were not about to let Richards live it down.

If only this moment could last forever (it almost did)
The crowning of Manalo as this year’s Miss Universe Philippines was truly a wonderful moment—except, nobody expected it to take five hours long. Were commercials getting in the way of the pageant or was it the other way around?

And the winner is—Marina Summers
Marina Summers not only dazzled with her performance “Amafilipina” but made history as the first-ever drag queen to grace the pageant’s stage. Some think she could have won the whole thing had she joined—who knows, maybe in a few years.
I guess – Empire PH REDEEMED THE PRODUCTION!! MOA Arena went on fire!
And I thought the show just started but look, there’s already a winner – Marina Summers! 👑 @marinaxsummers #MissUniversePhilippines2024 #MUPH2024 pic.twitter.com/wK3ltvW3d6

Forever iconic, Michelle Dee
Miss Universe Philippines provided us with the chance to witness both Michelle Dee’s jaw-dropping opening performance and her final walk as the pageant’s title holder. However, that did not stop her from leaving us with one of the night’s most memorable moments—a balancing act for the ages.
@rjhay__ natawa din ba kayo? Ikaw naman Michelle Dee 😂😅 magaling mag balance si Bulacan 😅 #fypシ゚viral #muph2024 #missuniversephilippines #mmd #crown #missuniverseph ♬ original sound – RJ
