Recreation Outdoor eXchange (R.OX.), Philippines returns with this year’s outdoor festival featuring an expanded lineup of activities and competitions including a zero gravity bouldering competition, an outdoor movie screening, outdoor guide sessions, as well as an outdoor family sale. The two-day festival, which serves as a highlight and culmination of R.O.X.’s 2018 summer campaign called Play Outside, is slated to happen on May 19 to 20, 2018 along Bonifacio High Street at Taguig city.
The theme of this year’s festival is all about encouraging families and friends to enjoy the outdoors—a kind of throwback to the halcyon days where most people bonded by roughing it up under the sun. Aside from the mentioned activities, the festival will also host on-site activations by outdoor brands and groups, advocacy groups, and tour operators who will be offering exclusive services throughout the event. Lastly, R.O.X. encourages everyone to join the Play Outside online photo contest by sharing on social media photos of them enjoying the outdoors. Weekly winners will be selected and given the chance to exhibit their photos at the festival. The winners will also receive gift certificates from R.O.X
