Majority of Filipinos will be happy to see him take his talents abroad

Earvin Sotto, father of Kai, already said that his son will still play for the Ateneo Blue Eaglets in UAAP Season 81 before considering the offers from European teams. But fans from all over the country couldn’t help but express their excitement about Real Madrid’s offer to the young Sotto. Should he stay or should he go?
If Kai Sotto has that offer from Real Madrid, he should take it. Turning pro at a young age should be the goal for all Filipino athletes. At this point, college is not important. Development is.

Philippines' Kai Sotto's move is somewhat similar to Kristaps Porzingis although Sotto is a center (16 years old). He at 7'1" will grow taller than Porzingis who at 7'3".
