Shimmer For a Good Cause With These Pride-Themed Beauty Products

Giving the LGBTQ community a chance to freely express themselves is the essence of Pride Month. We saw how several fashion brands showed their support by incorporating rainbows and inclusive messages to their pieces. But what’s a colorful occasion without beauty products?

You can find Pride-themed makeup looks everywhere on social media at this point. Be glad to know that you can also support the LGBTQ community by getting items from certain brands. Or, you can simply have fun with vibrant colors to take part in the celebration.

Milk Makeup

If you’re familiar with Milk Makeup’s Holographic Stick, then you’ll love their new Glitter Sticks. They partnered with LGBTQ community beneficiary The Center to create a shimmery product that show off flecks of rainbow glitter. But highlighting and looking like a disco ball isn’t the best part about this. Half of the product’s proceeds will also go to The Center. Available online.

Kiehl’s

Kiehl’s has been an avid supporter of Pride Month for a long time now. They often host parties during NYC Pride Week, raise money for charity, and just last week, they honored three LGBT youth organizations. This year, Kiehl’s partnered with the Tegan and Sara Foundation to create limited-edition bottles of the Ultra Facial Cream and Ultra Facial Oil-Free Face Cream. Sadly, the colorful product is only available in their New York stores, but you can ask friends or family to get you one as 100 percent of proceeds from sales up to $5,000 will go to the foundation.

MAC Cosmetics

In case you don’t know, MAC Cosmetics has a yearly campaign for the benefit of HIV/AIDS patients. The Viva Glam line is a collection of lipsticks featuring celebrity collaborations like Ariana Grande and Rihanna. This year, they teamed up with actress Taraji P. Henson to create limited-edition bold fuchsia shades in matte and lip glass. Available online.

Sigil Scent

This perfume brand is known for their unisex scents made from natural ingredients. Last year, owner Patrick Kelly donated 50 percent of their web and event proceeds to the victims and families of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. Right now, they have a limited-edition perfume called PRIDE, which has fruity and musky notes reminiscent of a Greek getaway. According to their site, 100 percent of the proceeds will go to “regional non-profit organizations providing housing and support for at-risk LGBTQ youth.” Available online.

Wet N Wild

Consider this a bonus as Wet N Wild recently released a Unicorn Glow collection, which consist of unicorn horn makeup brushes and rainbow highlighters. The Unicorn Glow highlighter, in particular, is a great product to use for any Pride events. I mean, who wouldn’t want a small rainbow radiating on their cheek? Available online.
