This is not a drill: Apple Fitness+ is now live for every health nut.

Launched on Dec. 14, the fitness subscription service by Apple offers workouts for all skill levels. It is designed for Apple Watch users to easily track their health data. If you don’t own one, the app can also be downloaded on your iPhone and iPad to assist in your fitness journey. If you have an Apple TV, the Fitness+ app will automatically appear once users upgrade to iOS 14.3.

The app features a wide range of video exercises: high intensity interval training, strength training, yoga, dance, cycling, treadmill (for running and walking), rowing, and cooldowns. All the workouts are guided by professional trainers, athletes, martial artists, and gymnasts.

We used Apple Fitness Plus for two months. Here’s what you need to know

The Apple Watch and Apple Fitness+ make working out easy for all ability levels. If you’re a beginner bodybuilder, for example, the subscription has an “absolute beginner” program to teach you the basics of the 10 different workouts in its library. Or if you’re the type to get bored of planning day-to-day exercises, the vast mixing and matching of routines, trainers, moods, and even workout music can help you try something new daily.

Apple Fitness+ proves that you can work out at your own pace and in your own space. Got no equipment? It’s fine, there’s a workout designed for you. Into carrying weights? It has exercises that use dumbbells. Like running and walking? You can incorporate the treadmill you purchased into the fitness classes featured in the subscription.

Fitness+ is available as a subscription service for US$9.99 per month or US$79.99 per year, and can be shared by up to six family members for the same price.
