All Access Productions were definitely not shitting us when they said they were in the works of bringing the biggest K-pop event to Manila. Hyping it up for a good month or so, they told K-pop fans to save up, because 24 artists and groups are set to visit the country for something huge.
Apparently, said K-pop event is actually the 32nd Golden Disk Awards–pretty much South Korea’s version of the Grammys, where the biggest groups and artists collect their respective awards (or rather, daesangs). It’s set to be held at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City on two dates, January 10 and 11, 2018.
We’re losing it a little bit over here, because that means the most prominent acts in the K-pop industry may just be setting foot in Philippine soil all at the same time. EXO, BTS, G-Dragon…our bodies are more than ready.
Before All Access made their announcement, they also posted a GIF of all the possible acts that may be part of the 24-artist lineup.
Assuming based on the GIF alone, here’s the 24 artists who we might just be seeing next January:
EXO
GOT7
APink
MxM
G-Dragon
IU
Wanna One
BTOB
BTS
BlackPink
Red Velvet
Seventeen
Day6
Nuest W
Gfriend
Pristin
NCT 127
Crush
WSJN
JBJ
Winner
Twice
Sunmi
Zico
This is a wild lineup and we are hyped. Guess we’ll have to save a bunch of our salaries here at Scout too.
